  5. DO NOT use San Diego Newsline! They took my $$ to publish and never did. Now they are not answering their phone or email. The county clerk's advice was to drive down and talk to them, which I did, and there's no business by that name at that address.

  6. Yes DO NOT USE SAN DIEGO NEWSLINE! They are on rip off report and are likely just farming your information for identity theft. They will take your money and not call you back. I'm going to law enforcement first, then to my gasoline can 2nd...

  14. the SAN DIEGO COMMERCE does excellent work. DBAStore.com is also an excellent website to run your Fictitious. just make sure you do not make errors. for $12 it's worth the piece of mind.

  15. Uptown Examiner is currently $15, not $10. Still very cheap though, you should go with them too.

  16. Thanks for the info Anonymous Sept. 7 3:44pm. DBAstore.com was only $8 to publish and I was able to print receipts and proof of publishing (including dates) right away.

They claim they will notify the county once all 4 issues are published. Even if they don't $8 is a steal compared to the other papers and it's all online. I've got a date set in my calendar just in case...I'm guessing most of the others don't take care of that bit for me anyway.

  17. Don't use Voice and Viewpoint! They never filed proof of publication with the city and I had to re-advertise again upon renewal. The county clerk suggested, that I ask the people at Voice and Viewpoint to republish the ad, since they should have filed proof in the first place but they denied responsibility and never ran my ad again. They were awful to deal with too.

  18. UPTOWN Examiner is very good it cost $15 and they delivered every time I needed, they are very inexpensive comparing with others. They send you proof of publication.

  20. Yup... DBAstore.com online only way to go. Only $16 for 4 names filed.

  21. $9 Million Fraud Judgment Against Antony Gordon In Federal Court
This fraud judgment has led to Antony Gordon’s Chapter Seven bankruptcy, which is a straight liquidation.
This (2:13-ap-01536-DS 1568931 Ontario Ltd., an Ontario (Canada Corporati v. Gordon et al) looks like a $9 million dollar fraud judgment in federal court against Rabbi Chanan (Antony) Gordon (an attorney, motivational speaker, and hedge fund manager).

  27. To follow up, I just went with Uptown Examiner and they were super easy to deal with - $20 gets you the 4 weeks, up to 4 names and the business name, and they contact the county at the end of the 4 weeks so you don't have to. I'd highly recommend. Cheers!
